In this episode I talk with Beverly Ferguson of The Reflective Designer. Beverly began her Interior Design career in her 50’s. After graduating Cum Laude in The Applied Science of Interior Design in her 20’s, she put her career on hold in order to raise her daughters.
Beverly’s mentor at Chamberlayne was a graduate of Les École des Beaux Arts in Paris. She was trained to think on her feet and to communicate in a direct fashion with her clients through her use of pencil, paint, and paper.
When Beverly and her husband got divorced, she used her skills as a designer and fine artist to carve her path in the design world. Through grit and resolve and the desire to take care of her daughters, she tells the story of how she created an Interior Design Business that serves the high tech community in and around Boston.
